Asterius, also known as the Minotaur, is a bull-headed demi-human from the video game Hades who was recruited by Hades to help prevent Zagreus's escape. In life, Asterius was locked in a labyrinth by his father, King Minos, only to eventually be slain by Theseus.

Asterius is a potential mid-boss encounter in Elysium, as well as always appearing as the final boss of Elysium, alongside his Heterosexual Death Partner King Theseus in the Elysium Stadium.

Asterius has the appearance of the classical depictions of Minotaur in Hades' unique art style. He is an extremely tall and muscular humanoid with a bull's head. He is covered head to toe in brown fur and has a short cow's tail with a black tuft. He has a nose ring and an equine mane of black and blue hair that starts as a Jerri curl and goes down his back. From the crown of his head a pair of large and expansive horns grow from his skull. They are white and tipped pink. He typically wears a single one shoulder baby blue toga with a golden belt and shin guards. The outfit is notably similar and inverse to that of of Theseus' toga which is worn on his left shoulder while Asterius's is worn on his right. He also wears royal blue gloves ang golden rings on around his arms. His weapon of choice is a large Battle Axe.
