squigglevision
Squigglevision is a patented computer animation method invented by Tom Snyder in which the outlines of characters and certain other shapes wiggle and undulate to give the illusion of motion, even when stationary. It tends to have the appearance of jittery lines of amateur hand-drawn animation. Although the actual style was only used by the productions of Snyder's now-defunct animation studio Soup2Nuts (which was part of the also now-defunct Tom Snyder Productions) using their software, the term has been generically applied to animation (both old and new) with a wobbly line effect such as Ed, Edd n Eddy; this tag is based on the genericization of the term to make things easier to tag here.
