anthrofied
Anthrofied is when a beastly character (feral, anthro, animal humanoid, taur, etc.) is depicted with either their animal or humanoid traits amplified or lessened to make them more anthropomorphic in appearance compared to their original form.
Note: this tag is a sub-genre of alternate_form, so this isn't transformation.
Scenarios
- A feral is depicted with more humanoid traits and less animal traits.
- An animal humanoid is depicted with more beastly traits, their existing ones are amplified, and their humanoid traits are lessened.
- An anthro is drawn more humanoid or beastly depending on which side of the anthropomorphic scale they lean on.
- A taur's secondary lower torso is replaced with bipedal legs and their upper-half is anthrofied (if they weren't already).
Anthrofying a character
In order to identify or make an anthrofied character, the following traits should be considered:
Essential Traits:
- An animal's head (having this trait alone would make the character into an animal head, which is not a true anthro).
- A body that is covered in fur, feathers, or scales (depending on the species).
- A humanoid torso.
- Humanoid arms and legs.
- Bipedalism.
- An upright posture.
Optional Traits:
- A snout (the Furry-O-Meter applies here).
- Beastly hands and feet (claws, talons, handpaw, hooves, etc.).
- Additional body parts (tails, wings, extra limbs, dorsal fins, etc.).
- Digitigrade legs (depending on the species).
- Animal genitalia (depending on the species).
