Character: scp-1057
SCP-1057, a.k.a., "The Absence of A Shark" is an anomalous Tiger Shark named Panic, classified as Safe from the SCP Foundation Mythos. It was created by one of the many reality-bending Avant-Garde anartists associated with the Art Movement "Are We Cool Yet?".
Panic is invisible, intangible, has no mass when weighed, and has a volume that changes to occupy the size of its current enclosure. SCP-1057 through some unknown mechanism is capable of displacing water around it in the shape of itself. Despite being intangible, it is also capable of attacking, eating, and digesting potential food sources. Said food sources disappear when entering SCP-1057's body in this fashion, with the exception of non-digestible dyes.
SCP-1057 was discovered by a lifeguard in a Public Swimming Pool, where it killed two swimmers and injured the lifeguard in question. Five more people were killed in the ensuing panic. A document (1057-K24) was discovered on the staff bulletin board. Despite being handwritten, it had no fingerprints.
Document 1057-K24
Panic means that the idea of a shark can be more dangerous than an actual shark.
It can even be more dangerous than no shark at all.
Are we cool yet?
