Funky Kong (Japanese: ファンキーコング Fankī Kongu) is an anthro male gorilla that lives on Donkey Kong Island. He is also a recurring character in the Donkey Kong series. He first appeared in 1994 in the game Donkey Kong Country (SNES). And he is identifiable by his black sunglasses, white tank top, blue shorts and his red bandana with white dots.
