Holstaurus, sometimes translated as Holstaurs, are a type of Beastman Monster, originating from Monster Girl Encyclopedia. They are a subspecies of Minotaur. Where as the Minotaur is a wild, ferocious, and violent half-human/half-cattle monster, the Holstaurus are more domesticated, demure, and generally docile. They are based on the Holstein Friesian Cattle and are known for producing an absurdly large quantity of breast milk, which in turn makes their breasts so impressively huge, that not even a Baphomet can completely remove them with the Spell of Pedomorphosis.

Because of their origin, Holstaurus are often depicted a female cow humanoids, with small horns, white hair, bovine legs, bovine ears, Holstein Marks on their fur, and a tail. They differ from Minotaurs who have larger horns, brown or black fur, and no Holstein marks. This also differs from Minotaurs in mythology and various media, which are depicted as having completely bovine heads in addition to the aforementioned features.
