Platform missionary position is a variant of table lotus position featuring qualities of missionary position. The passive partner lies, or reclines on top of a raised surface, while the active partner is positioned partially off the surface. The active partner should be leaning directly over, or lying on top of their partner for this tag to apply.
General guidelines
This tag should follow the criteria of typical missionary except for the posture on the penetrating partner.
- This does not usually count as missionary position and is closely related to table lotus position, and reclined table lotus. Use one of those position tags alongside this tag.
- The character should be in a face-to-face posture to be consistent with the missionary theme. More upright postures should use table lotus position tags instead.
