Lah the Ghost is a character that exclusively appeared in Night of the Werehog, an animated short meant to tie-in with the video game Sonic Unleashed. In the short Lah is one of three ghosts residing in a haunted house that Sonic the Hedgehog and Light Gaia decide to spend the night in. The other two ghosts, Su and Uh, compete for her affections by scaring anyone who enters the mansion and photographing their faces for her amusement.

In the short Su and Uh easily and repeatedly frighten Chip, photographing him multiple times, but eventually Lah notices Sonic in the background completely unafraid. She forces the two ghost boys to scare Sonic, only for it to result in them being scared by Sonic when he transforms into Sonic the Werehog. Su and Uh then join forces, transforming into an anthropomorphic Bull ghost but are ultimately defeated by Sonic the Werehog. Eventually, Lah sees Sonic in his Werehog form and mistakes him for The Wolfman, immediately falling in love with him. The short ends with Chip being tied to a chair and imprisoned within Lah's bedroom in the mansion while Lah assumes his form and takes his place to be with Sonic.

Lah has the appearance of a pretty young girl with blue eyes and long wispy lavender hair with pigtails formed using golden hairbands. She has a large pink flower in her hair and 2 gold ring bracelets on her right wrist. She wears a strapless old-fashioned purple cocktail dress and a bow on her tail, giving her the appearance of a mermaid when she flies through the air.
