The flag of Texas, a state in the United States.

It has a blue section on the left side with a star over it, and on the right side, the top half is white with the bottom half being red (requesting somebody add vexillological terms).

It is commonly confused with the Chilean flag, as the Chilean flag has a similar pattern, except for the blue section being moved up along with the star, allowing space for the bottom red part to take its place.
