glass eye
Solid glass spheres fashioned into the likeness of an eyeball. They are a type of ocular prosthetic that are inserted into an empty eye socket, intended to replace a missing eye. In reality they are merely for cosmetic purposes but in fiction, especially in fantasy, they often possess supernatural properties such as restoring the wearer's eyesight or grant them powers, often relating to vision.
