A band initiated by Les Claypool in the late 1980's. Their genre can roughly be defined as folk-rock, groove metal & bass centric. After 1993's album Pork Soda achieved Platinum-level success, the band achieved a large following which still performs to this very day (though more so performing covers rather than original songs, as of late).
