"Gunnar and Pops do things that fathers and sons traditionally do not do."
-Anti Dev's Incestaroos gallery description
Incestaroos refers to a series of comics involving an incestuous male kangaroo father and son duo, Gunnar and his dad Pops. This series was created by artist Anti_Dev, who has published pictures of the characters since as early as January 2010. But their first comic installment was posted in June 17th, 2013 (one day after father's day, intentionally to celebrate it).
This tag should be used if Gunnar, Chet, Sabbath, Lars or any other character who made their debut in this comic series appears in a post (whether the artist is Anti Dev or not).
Comics
- Father's Day (2013)
- The Fuckening (2014)
- The Rise of Chet (2018)
- Wilson (2020) (crossover with Brogulls)

Trivia:
- Anti Dev has commented that Incestaroos wasn't even meant to be a thing, "but sometimes stuff just takes off".[1]
- Other than the comics that have been published, Anti Dev has wrote an entire script for an "Incestaroos origins" comic, about the start of their relationship. However, he doesn’t know if he’ll ever actually make it "because it got into some heavy emotional territory and I’m not sure those characters work for that sort of thing".[2] [3]
- Anti Dev has also said he has "a script where they get married in international waters", which he also doesn't know if he'll ever draw.[4]
- He has acknowledged that Incestaroos is kinkier than Brogulls: "Brogulls was an erotic romance story, Rise of Chet is just filth."[5]
- Also unlike Brogulls, which is confirmed to take place in North Carolina, Incestaroos is in "No particular state as of yet".[6]
- He once tweeted a Netflix-style parody synopsis of the series:[7]
Incestaroos (2011)
Dad's a drunk. His son's a punk rocker. They only have one thing in common. Who says daddy issues are a bad thing?(Suggested because you watched Sonic Underground)
- A fan once asked if the Incestaroos are on welfare (considering Pops' unemployed status). Anti Dev replied "I'm not gonna get into all that. They're like the Aqua Teens, they just kind of exist".[8]
- Anti Dev said that - "Except for the incest" - Gunnar was inspired by his "really punky" younger self, and Pops by his own "kind of a redneck" dad.[9]
