Hazel Verday is a character created by artist Gyro-Furry. She is co-owned by Gyro-Furry and writer SmashUniverse64, and is featured in their collaborative works set in the Clearwater Chronicle universe. She is a cat-raccoon hybrid with tan and white fur, green hair and eyes. She is known for her very wide hips and her huge butt compared to most people in Clearwater, giving her a very noticeable pear-shaped figure.

Hazel lives in an apartment in downtown Clearwater with her roommates Sapphire Wolf and the Thompson sisters Layla and Gabby. She is an honest, hard-working girl from the countryside who always tries to see the bright side in every situation. While she gets nervous and flustered quite easily, she is very friendly and sweet to everyone that she meets. She works at a café in the city called Candice and Candi's Café and often brings back test samples to her roommates.
