Shub-Niggurath, the Black Goat of the Woods with a Thousand Young, is a goddess of the Cthulhu Mythos pantheon. She often appears as a cloud of smoke, wherein a multitude of her children appear and disappear. She also sometimes appears as a Satyr in order to engage in her worshippers orgies. While she certainly sounds like the life of the party, she, like all mythos deities, requires human sacrifice, and who wants to deal with one kid let alone a thousand?

Shub-Niggurath is associated heavily with forests, and can be summoned to any such area on any world that has them at the night of a full moon.

The father of her young is Hastur, and their breakup was not amicable. Their cultists and servitor races hate each other.
