Refers to a sound an anus can make during or after penetration. The sound is similar to a fart (hence the name), however it is caused by the air pushed in by penetration rather than the expulsion of intestinal gas. This tag therefore does not imply the tag fart fetish.

It can be difficult to distinguish a gape fart from real ones in posts without fart clouds. A general rule of thumb is that gape farts happen during or after penetration, whereas real farts can happen without it. An exception to this rule is if it's implied that air has been sucked in through dialogue and/or motion lines, then the tag gape fart should be used even though there's no penetration.
