big wheeled inline skates
inline skates with a notably larger wheel size than the traditional 80mm (three-wheeled inline skates are the most common example)
Bigger skate wheels are built for forward speed, coasting, and long-distance travel. They require more effort to accelerate but more easily maintain their velocity. Stability is lower due to the raised height from the ground, increasing the need for balance.

Naming
(This heading applies mostly to skate buffs.)
The phrase "big wheeled inline skates" is not industry standard. "Racing inline skates" feature four big wheels with a long frame setup, and "three-wheeled inline skates" fit three big wheels on a normal-sized frame. Artists, however, sometimes draw small wheels in place of big wheels in such setups, leaving gaps between them. When gauging speed vs. stability, therefore, wheel size is a clearer determining factor than the number of wheels.
