The male mascot for the disaster-warning system of Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan, and is the titular character of Mamoru-kun (series), which is itself part of the shared universe Little Tail Bronx which is comprised of several intellectual properties. Little Tail Bronx is owned by CyberConnect2.

Mamoru-kun is a male anthro canine cub who is a sort of junior volunteer firefighter, taking after his mustached and much larger firefighter father. He is often or usually depicted with a large ornate whistle that's worn as a necklace.

He also has been used in illustrated lessons to children about safety relating to strangers and "stranger danger", and thus is perhaps best known through porn based on the "Bad End"/"Bad Ending" scenario in the aforementioned instructional materials, which entails an obese and nefarious anthro cat abducting Mamoru-kun after the latter made the wrong choices.
