Painted Balls describes characters with balls that are partially or entirely covered in paint, usually done in ways to make the balls resemble other spherical objects, or alternatively, the balls may have symbols, letters, or numbers painted onto them.

Painted balls are especially popularly depicted with paint to resemble seasonal/holiday related objects, such as Easter eggs, Christmas baubles, Pumpkins or Jack-O'-Lanterns.
