• Aunt - A sister to either the father, or mother of a character.
• Uncle - A brother to either the father, or mother of a character.

• Nephew - The son of a character's brother/sister.
• Niece - The daughter of a character's brother/sister.

If a character is a niece/nephew to you, then you are an aunt/uncle to them.

• Cousin - The son/daughter of an aunt/uncle from the perspective of the son/daughter of a brother/sister to that aunt/uncle. In other words, the son/daughter of two different siblings (brother, sister) are considered cousins.

Feminine roles should be used for characters who are female, or an intersex equivalent (gynomorph, herm) gender.
