inflation bulb
Overview
An inflation bulb is a type of hand operated pump used to provide pressure (or sometimes vacuum).
Most inflation bulbs are black, rubber, round in shape, are attached to a thin hose, and will occasionally have a small knob on the end used to release pressure.
Common Applications
Inflation bulbs are commonly seem on manual blood pressure meters (sphygmomanometers) to inflate the cuff that fits around the patient's arm. Inflation bulbs can also be found on some penis pumps and inflatable sex toys.
