Mutilation is the act of disfiguring the body, or part of the body. When performed on oneself, it is called self_mutilation.

• A torso that has been cut up into parts or chunks (decapitation, dismemberment).
• Removal of the skin, or evidence of body tearing.
• Removal of specific body parts such as breasts, or genitalia.
