Cuphead is a classic run and gun action game developed by studioMDHR heavily focused on boss battles. It was first released on September 29, 2017. Inspired by cartoons of the 1930s, the visuals and audio are painstakingly created with the same techniques of the era, i.e. traditional hand drawn cel animation, watercolor backgrounds, and original jazz recordings.
A DLC expansion titled The Delicious Last Course was released on June 30, 2022. The DLC includes 6 new Bosses, additional weapons and charms and the ability to play as Ms. Chalice.
