raised leg
post #1676548 post #2664101 post #2331966
Posts in which a single leg is raised up or away from the body, usually revealing genitalia. A raised hind leg could be a hiked leg when a character does it to urinate. It can also occur while engaged in sex.
- If both legs are raised e.g. if on back or in missionary position, consider using legs_up instead.
A raised leg is characterized by a foot that is elevated off the ground, and both the foot and knee should be raised to the same level or above that character's waist. For standing and related positions, the foot should still be elevated, but the leg positions should be extended out from under the character. A leg positioned directly underneath a character becomes one calf up instead. The raised foot tag is generally applicable to on one leg positions.
Not to be confused with
- knee_pulled_up
- on_one_leg - Raised status for standing positions is treated differently than other positions. Positions that don't meet the definition of one leg up should probably be tagged as raised foot instead.
Posture examples
Lying
- Lying on front postures almost always should be tagged as one_calf_up / calves_up instead of raised_leg.

Standing
- Standing postures are restricted by how high the leg is elevated relative to a character's waist. Keep this in mind when deciding whether to tag as raised_leg or raised_foot.

Feral anatomy
- Raised leg generally apply to the hindlegs only. Raised foot may apply to any leg on a quadruped.
- Upright postures involving both forelegs, or both hindlegs should be tagged as on_fore_legs, and on_hind_legs respectively instead of typical raised tags.
Hindlegs (raised_hindleg)

Forelegs (raised_foreleg)
- Left example could pass as a raised_leg, and the right example as a raised_foot.
Both
- Treat forelegs as independent from hindlegs when checking raised status. These should not be tagged as legs_up.

- It is recommended to know the differences between these tags. These tags are different in the postures that they contain, and they do not tend to overlap with raised_leg.
