This tag is used when a pencil is shown within a scene, and/or is used by a character. This can describe a wooden pencil, a mechanical pencil, or a coloured pencil. This can also apply to a photograph of a pencil drawing, which features a real pencil (the tool used to create the drawing).

Important Note: Not to be confused with pencil (artwork), which describes a drawing created using a pencil.
