Leroy, also known as Experiment 629, is one of Dr. Jumba Jookiba's genetic experiments in the Lilo & Stitch franchise, and the titular secondary antagonist of the last Lilo & Stitch film, Leroy & Stitch. A red furred koala-like alien creature, he is Jumba's latest experiment (in the original primary "Lilo" continuity from 2002-2006).
Essentially Stitch's evil twin, Leroy has all of Stitch's abilities along with a few unique ones, such as a limited shapeshifting ability that allows him to look exactly like Stitch. Leroy was made under the orders of Dr. Jacques von Hämsterviel who—with the help of Gantu—forced Jumba to make an evil experiment to serve him. Since it takes a long while to make a new experiment, Leroy was made using the Experiment 626 template, although he was colored red since Hämsterviel hates the color blue and wanted an experiment whose fur color matches his red cape. Leroy was cloned shortly after his creation, and the Leroy army helped Hämsterviel take over the United Galactic Federation and capture all the first 624 genetic experiments in less than a day to send them to a stadium to be destroyed. However, before they had the chance to kill off the experiments, Lilo, Stitch, and Reuben defeated the Leroys by performing the song "Aloha 'Oe" (Jumba implanted a fail-safe in Leroy that causes the experiment to shut down upon listening to the song). The Leroys and Hämsterviel were then imprisoned shortly after their defeat.
