The tag describes characters experiencing and reacting to hot conditions, which can be defined as temperatures well above "room temperature" (20 Celsius/70 Fahrenheit), however, the character may be hot themselves from warm clothing or being in a hot room, rather than reacting to ambient temperatures. This tag can also apply to scenes that convey a sense of heat through visual elements.
Depictions of a character experiencing heat almost always involve the character sweating. frequently flushed, looking tired, and/or unhappy with the heat; they may also verbally express their discomfort. Characters may be shown unbuttoning, unzipping, or pulling at their clothing to allow air to cool their body, fanning themselves, holding a cold object to their head or body, or standing in front of a fan or air conditioner. Characters experiencing heat may be shown in varying states of undress.
A "hot scene" may be hazy, feature clouds of steam, and the pallet may use bright, warm colours to convey the sense of heat to the viewer.
Note: This tag is not to be confused with a character being in heat, although a character may be experiencing both at the same time
