Dartrix is a grass-type and flying-type Pokémon, designed after an owl. It has a body covered in brown and white feathers, as well as leaves. Green leaves form a bowtie shape at its neck.

It has evolved from Rowlet, gaining darker brown feathers, a tendency to keep its eyes closed, and green leaves or feathers at the top of its face that hang down like swooping bangs.
