Ye (born Kanye Omari West; June 8, 1977) is an American hip-hop recording artist, songwriter, record producer, fashion designer, and entrepreneur. He has created or co-created some of the most commercially successful rap music of all time, influencing many other performers. He is often called by the nickname "Yeezy".
