A video game based on the Alien franchise developed by Creative Assembly in 2014 for the PC, Macintosh, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4 platforms and published by Sega.

The game is an action-adventure based horror/survival, first person game that takes place 15 years following the events of the 1979 film Alien in which Ellen Ripley encountered the first xenomorph and subsequently was forced to eject from her ship to survive.

The game follows Ellen's daughter, Amanda Ripley, as she tries to uncover the circumstances of her mother's disappearance. While investigating she has the misfortune of running into the xenomorph life form as well as a variety of other hostiles (malfunctioning androids and paranoid/delusional humans).
