A hand cannon is a type of heavy gun built to be used in one hand, though its weight and recoil may cause wielders to use two hands. Its shape is normally similar to a pistol or revolver, but fires larger caliber bullets to deal greater damage to the target.

Not to be confused with an arm_cannon, which is a weapon that actually attaches to the user's arm.
