MemberI think it is because Amy is far too aggressive in her pursuit of Sonic. She comes of as demanding and controlling. Since Sonic always seems like a free spirit he probably see's Amy as an anchor that would slow him down and demand too much of his time. Either that more maybe he's just into dudes.
