JanitorOnly problem with this is that it's upscaled and frame times differ from original file. This why it's 10x larger than original files are and much slower.
Also because how the things are looped, I don't think that it's best to be viewed as continuous series, but as comic instead. Of course artist posting it as individual gifs on tumblr won't help with that.

MemberYeah, Combine with the fact I don't have Photoshop which I hear can really make those comic style gifs there really wasn't any avoiding this. Though all things considers It still came out pretty well.
You can tell what's going on, it get's the point across and looks like I'm not the first to make the comics like this . =)
P.S: Gonna try that down scaling trick next gif.

JanitorGimp is free and does all the basic stuff that photoshop does :p
It turned out OK, but this is why I personally avoid screen recording and reason why I have uploaded better versions of many animations uploaded here, because I want more than OK. Taking gifs directly keeps their quality intact, recording them alters their compression and possibly resolution and frame rate. Generally screen recorders only work with interactive media like fullscreen games.
This is the biggest issue here: http://i.imgur.com/SpdoSHj.png
That's basically empty frame, but because video recording was lossy, there's some compression data. That means that frame is now shown twice, taking 100ms, where in original work it was shown once 50ms, making animation look slower and stuttering when that happens after every 4th frame. Maybe you recorded ~30 FPS, but animation is "only" 20 FPS. If this were fighting game that would be unacceptable.
With that other earlier gif, this kind of animation works better, because scenes change with every loop. With here, especially first loops are much more similar to each other, so it looks weirder to have instant cut on them, though this ones more of an subjective argument :9
I didn't downscale anything. I took the gifs that were on source, downloaded them and combined them. They are 256x192 there (Flipnote, DSi screen resolution). It's the tumblr which resizes them when viewed directly on site.
Just don't take anything personally here, I may be bit obsessed with quality and sometimes get bit frustrated when I know how things are done and how they work, just want to let it all out. Should just enjoy 'em bara bears more often instead :\

MemberHey Trust me, It take A LOT to get under my skin.
What's been said so far has just been criticism and if you don't know how to take that your gonna have a bad time in life and Gimp and use Gifs, Huh I didn't know that. (Though it's looking pretty complex with with 20+ layer for a single Gif.)
Anyway,
Short version: I'm O.k with O.k, As long as: It get's approved, I get the point across and give proper credit. (2 outta 3 ain't bad.)
Gonna save that type of commitment for my YouTube shenanigans.
If you can do it, Go for it. More power to ya. =)
Slightly Longer Version:
I get where your coming from from man. The ending/beginning is pretty jarring but, there's not much I can do about it now except how to do the next one better. (To be honest you've already beat me to the punch.)
