From someone who has fought that battle on far too many occasions from the perspective of "I actually KNOW who/what this character is" and lost I can tell you artists/observer input means absolutely jack squat. It's "tag what you see," not "tag what you know," and the admin can, and will, take names and kick asses if somebody takes an opposing view to what THEY say the image is depicting.

Taking a moment to look more objectively after having some time for the initial "why are dicks front and center always tagged "female" just because there's boobs" frustration to blow over that upper left panel, I had assumed that it's the same character shown in the central "splash" panel as well as the bottom right, which would then mean whether it's shown in all three "positions" or not, there is a penis there. But then, there are four character name tags, and I was only "seeing" three characters, Mana, Arun (the purple), and Rithnok (the black one), so I started thinkign "maybe that's two different characters and one is female." But once I checked into it more, Lazo, I assume, is the light blue from earlier in the series who, near as I can tell, is NOT pictured here, which logically means it must be Rithnok in all three panels, therefore there is no female here. So while I concede that "dickgirl" was, by "tag what you see" the right choice to make, whoever tagged "female" was not accurate.

Again, I believe that's correct! However, as the artist I totally understand that my perspective is often skewed with my own images. So please feel free to correct any tagging mistakes I make, I'm not the kind of person to get upset about something like that.

That's what gets me in trouble with the admin most of the time. I might not be an artist (at least not one with any level of substantial skill) but I do often follow certain artists' work. The one that got me into the most trouble was a Ben3000 piece depicting Drayk, a character widely known in the furry/scaly community to be a "cunt-boy" with physiques ranging from slender and "feminine" to fairly well muscled and clearly "masculine" save for the obvious anatomic disparity. Ben's known for drawing great backsides, which led me to that particular image, and when I tried to argue that Drayk's a cuntboy, not a female, well things got messy. Heh, as I said before, I've been on the side of "I actually KNOW what this is supposed to be regardless of pose/"censor"/"tasteful ambiguity"" and it was made, shall we say, abundantly clear to me that KNOWING what a character actually is doesn't mean a damn thing if ANY administrator decides it's something else. Not even having the original artist say flat out "THIS is what my character is and he/she/it is NEVER to be depicted any other way." I've often petitioned for source material/character bios to have a certain amount of weight in determining gender tags, but at the same time I understand how that could get abused, what with all this "transgender/genderfluid" stuff going around. People searching for "females" want to see actual females, not males who "feel" like they're females, after all.

if you actually look closely that is Arun's penis in the 4th panel, and while not entirely obvious from the limited view, Mana is otherwise female. If you want to ignore the other pages as evidence, you can argue ambiguous gender for Mana since all we can see are her boobs (barely), but otherwise we got 2 herms and a female on this page.

Though, on the whole TWYS policy, specifically on the case of dickgirl vs herm when you can't see the vag. I really think those should be stripped down to just intersex because, you can't tell if there is one or not in the picture, it's the same as ambiguous gender, except you can tell they're atleast intersex.

There are three characters visible in this page, Arun (the purple herm, obvious penis in panel 5, implied penis in pnal 3), Mana (the blue-striped, four-armed herm, obvious penis in panels 1 and 3), and Rithnok (the black herm, obvious penis in panel 5). There are NO females in this image. The "fourth" character, Lazo, is the light blue Feraligatr-looking MALE who is not even pictured here (thus that tag should be removed). So I don't know what 'Evidence" you speak of showing Mana is "otherwise female" but every other page I've seen her in that shows that area shows a penis. Same for Arun and Rithnok. And then there's Lazo, the male. So once again there are NO females among the four main characters of this comic and sufficient visible evidence right here on this page to show that ALL THREE of them, at the very least, have a penis with two having clearly visible vaginas, making them herms. And I'm sorry but you don't get to ignore a penis and say "well, they're otherwise female, so we should tag female." Doesn't work that way.

I'm feelin' hopeful about that. I'd love to see this continued. The porn, while nice, isn't even important at this point, I'm just really invested in the characters.

Lack of funds D:
I don't want to get into ALL the monetary details, but long story short it was paid up through the first 8 pages or so, the rest were partly covered by watchers who got cameos in the comic, and the I did just because I wanted to get to this stopping point in the comic. Each page takes a ton of work to finish and really cuts into my time to do commissions or anything else TT-TT
