He has ferocity in his eyes. He also is as cute as a Welsh Corgi. I'm excited for SF Zero!

You and me both! So what if it's a remake of the first N64 game? Notice that he's got the shield generator from Smash Bros.?

  • Looks like the borrowed from a lot of previous designs to make this one. His design like this looks pretty cool. Very N64 but also very modern to keep up with the new graphics.

I like it. His fur trips me out.

Also yeah we can assume it's a reboot. They said, basically, it's a re-imagined Star Fox 64.

  • Aah. I love it! They've pulled from pretty much every single design in some way shape or form!

Predominant: Smash 3, 4. The proportions are very, very Smash Bros.
Colors: 64, for sure. The silver boots, bright green pants, there is no doubt.
Detail: Adventures. Fur was trippy-real in it, and it's great here. So floofy!
Attitude: Assault. He has that fire in his eyes, and that authenticity.

But there's plenty of new stuff there too! The wide, high collar of his jacket, the new eye-piece which, while different, is RIGHT out out Smash! I see the Reflector as well.

Ah... This super-high detail art honestly reminds me of the Assault renders.

    This is good shit.

This is going to be highly interesting.

If it is a continuity reboot.

It IS going to be interesting! I'm pretty damned sure that this is basically a hodgepodge of SF64 and SF2. Which means the chances of seeing Miyu and Fay are actually real chances, since SO MUCH FROM STAR FOX 2 HAS BEEN LIFTED INTO THIS GOD DAMN HOLY SHIT but yeah. I'm really, really excited. This has lived up to most of my hype in the preceding months.

    |Though do recall, they DID say it wasn't a re*make*. But they didn't say it wasn't a re*imagining* or a remodernization, which would be so, so, so okay with me.

    God. I can't wait.

Good God, I sure do hope Fay and Miyu remain buried. I can only see the furry fandom doing to them what they did to Krystal, and that would be a fucking shame.

Weren't Miyu and Fay basically turned into and Katt and Bill anyway?

And Katt and Bill have been confirmed to appear in this game.

Oh, oh, oh, that implication is something best voiced very, very quietly.

There's a difference, and the difference is presentation. Ask yourself why Krystal is as wildly popular as she is. It's not just because she's a female character. First time we ever see her, she's in skimpy clothes. First time Fox sees her? Cheesy Sax music. A goal was also, to save her. Post Adventures, Nintendo played up the sexy bit by giving her a very ah... "flattering" bodysuit.

Miyu and Fay are unlikely to receive such a fate.

I wouldn't be so sure. Just look at what happened to Fox, Falco, and Wolf.

I lost interest in this game after reading this: http://mynintendonews.com/2015/06/16/star-fox-zero-hasnt-got-online-multiplayer/

It could potentially end up like what happened to SM3DW.

IIRC, this new game is "suppose to be episodic."

Who cares? Star Fox isn't really something meant for online multiplayer. It's an arcade rail shooter action sci-fi series, not something like Mario Kart or Halo or whatever actually needs multiplayer in it. The only "online" Star Fox needs is a high score databoard or something.

That being said, they said there is a co-op mode. Apparently one person flies, and the other shoots.

You say it like getting porn of aesthetically pleasing characters is bad. Look what site you're on.

I did, and I hold roughly the same opinion. It'd be nice, but in the manner it plays? I dunno' how fun it'd be.

A single player campaign is great and all, but adding an option to play online wouldn't hurt the game. Multiplayer dogfights don't sound online appropriate to you? Online adds more value. Imagine if Splatoon didn't have online whatsoever... it wouldn't nearly be as big as it is.

Online multiplayer dogfights sound appropriate for Star Fox imo.

Well, it mostly is. Especially if the porn itself is not aesthetically pleasing and involves some godawfully-designed, butt-ugly OC. Which a significant number of pictures under the Star Fox tag does, I might add.

Sounds like just bitterness though, because there's plenty of great images. Like, most of everything is crap so why bother even mentioning it..?

Because I expect people to eventually develop standards.

You expect far too much from furries, if not the entire internet, then.

I dunno'. Seems to me he's always had the strangely triangular muzzle. Which I'm fine with, really.
