BlockedThere's a lot of evidence to suggest a strong shortage of Magnesium in the human diet. Part of it has to do with it being scarce in the foods we consume these days and the fact that it can be difficult to for our body to metabolize from other sources.
Nevertheless an essential element in the body and used by many enzymes in chemical processes.

Burned Magnesium becomes Talc.

BlockedWhat's weird is that I been drinking this Neuro Sleep that has a marginally high amount of magnesium which makes you drowsy. Not sure if it has something do to with the magnesium or the combination of other ingredients.
Ozelot
BlockedIf it makes you sleepy it is most likely effecting your brain chemistry in some way. Another possibility is it is messing with your metabolic rate, I think.
magnesium absorbed in liquid form is usually not absorbed readily by the body, it basically has the effect of a laxative. In fact it's the primary ingredient in most liquid-drinking ingested laxatives.

MemberBurning the Magnesium ribbon creates Magnesium oxide and REALLY bright light! Don't inhale the fume though.
