  • lack of motivation really. its hard to eat healthy when you have almost no reason to do so. Speaking from experience of course. However, you can still snack of course, provided you just use your energy for more than playing videogames, watching youtube and just lazing about. Don't gotta go to the gym but if its nice, walk for a bit, play a game of basketball, join a softball league, anything really.

Agreed, also you have that whole problem of healthy eating cost you about 10 times the amount of money as unhealthy eating.

  • To eat healthy, it's not that hard. To look healthy, you are going to have to put work into that. All it takes is motivation, willpower, confidence, and fruits & vegetables.

Now add in the cost of medical bills to the cost of unhealthy eating.

i probably don't eat as healthy as i could but as far as exercise goes...pushups (i could do around 200 before stopping for a short break easily), curls with a 40 lb. dumbbell (up to 75 before stopping for my first short break), squats while holding said dumbbell (try doing that on one leg at a time, between keeping balance and the added weight it can be a challenge), and how i like practicing fighting moves (mostly punches and stuff). plus, i've been walking digitigrade (partial, my heels are typically 2+ inches off the ground whenever i'm up and moving around) for several years now so my legs are pretty strong from that alone and i have better balance. so yeah, i think i do enough stuff for simple exercise that pretty much anyone could do. exercise that doesn't take hardly any time really and i don't even do it EVERY day, just when i feel like it and its still enough.

this pic is kinda a reminder of the one area of my body that has much fat, my belly -_- ugh.

I go to /r/fatpeoplehate and /r/fatlogic. Being a hateful anti-SJW and spiting SJWs and Jabba the Hutt lookalikes is great motivation. Positivity talk never motivated me.

I don't actually *like* most forms of exercise. I prefer to just take in fewer calories than I consume. It's not a matter of fruits or vegetables, but whether you are at a calorie deficit or a calorie surplus. If you are at a calorie deficit, the only way to gain significant weight within the laws of physics is to have some medical problem that causes fluid retention.

Lucky. My dad would roar STOP WALKING ON YOUR TOES! YOU LOOK LIKE A BALLERINA! at me whenever I did that as a kid. Fuck them, TIL from your post that walking on my toes was GOOD for me.

I'd rather put my weight on the balls of my feet than on my cushioning-deficient heels.

ballerina, heh, haven't been called that before while walking this way. if anything, i used to sneak up on my aunt and she'd tease me saying i should wear a bell. lol

if you do decide to try walking this way, do at least some exercise with your legs (don't blame me if you're lack of balance or whatever gets you hurt >.> that said however, standing on one foot digitigrade is a good bit harder than standing with your foot flat on the ground.). like i've told my aunt (who says she's too old for this kind of stuff or has tried it all before and it didn't work. pfft those are some weak excuses if ever i heard 'em), just getting up and moving around doing something is enough.

You sound like a charming individual who in no way needs therapy.

    Extensive, extensive therapy.

I was blessed with such a broken metabolism that I can eat junk food, lay in bed all day playing video games, 2 twelve packs of soda per week, and I still lose weight

So uhh 8 years later is that still the case? I’m assuming it’s been “fixed”
