    I upload it to my patreon, then later on FA, couple days later here because of wanting to get tags correct.

    Well if you wanna do that get yourself added to the do not post list. Cuz you can make exceptions so only stuff you upload gets approved.

  • e621 is going by "upload first, have the owner ask to take it down and/or be added to the DNP-list later". This means e621 hosts illegal content since they do not have the permission to host it. This goes against EU's copyright reform as far as I can see and e621 is currently under the radar.

    If licences are not concluded, these platforms have to make their best efforts to ensure that content not authorised by the rightholders is not available on their website.

    (Even if e621 isn't hosted in the EU, they still can't make the website available in the EU. e621 also doesn't do their best effort in preventing illegal content.)

    I like the convenience of finding art on e621 and that's how I find Matachu in the first place. But stolen content is still stolen content, even if you link back to the source.
