With Tawani being assigned to various missions, it is not unusual for the avali to come across more unique groups with cultural practices that differ vastly from their own. One such practice among a rogue avali group on an icy moon near the edge of Tarvellian space is the keeping of prisoners for their personal pleasures; such is the case for an unfortunate feline who has been kept around as nothing more than a living toy for the group which Tawani has now been assigned to deal with diplomatically.

Since such practices are banned on Tarvelos, the integration of this faction will naturally result in any such prisoners being freed. But since no treaty has been signed yet, and the group insisted on Tawani at least trying out their recently captured toy as a sign of good will, the avali decided it would be best to not jeopardize any negotiations. So, to be respectful of their hosts' wishes, Tawani simply follows up on their offer and takes advantage of the opportunity during recess before any official treaty is signed.
