  • On one hand he's gonna start learning about himself and probably avoid today's attempt.

On the other, he's now going to be comparing his current self to the absolute legend he used to be. Like a boxer coming out of retirement after 20 years.

We've seen him try to fight post memory wipe. Barring someone fixing his brain (which is more screwed up than Tini's was by a wide margin) he literally can't go back to what he used to be.

  • In retrospect, Prometheus may have been so stupid and arrogant in thinking he could beat them. Perhaps he was wrong to delude himself.

Arrogant? He killed an entire castle full of Bisharp without a scratch or even becoming tired. Before that, he survived on the battlefield alone for Arceus knows how long. Given enough time, he probably could have taken out a huge percentage of their population.

As for stupid, his ability to learn the ins and outs of so many jobs over the years (albeit imperfectly) is a strong case against that. It seems like he never got fired over mistakes, but quit because he was holding himself to a nigh-impossible standard.

  • It's about time that his memory about his past comes back, in any case this person is the hero who saved Prometheus from self-suicide. I'm more proud of being able to experience something like that, come back, old friend!

What I'm saying is that Prometheus may have been wrong to want to exterminate the Bisharps, since his actions were almost getting him a death sentence. I wasn't talking about his experience since he had amnesia. He had dreams, but if he did the right thing, they wouldn't have stayed there. He tried to be better than that.

  • The war was well known enough that there are books about it? And it's taken how many years for a single person to recognize him? Can't even say it's from a far off land, because he's literally walked everywhere this entire time.

How many people do you know who know Pvt. Judson Porter of the Troup Artillery? He could spend his entire life walking this earth in modern day without a single person recognizing who he was.

I know many, many military buffs who could easily tell you all about him. They're usually also very into guns and authoritarians.

Also, the American Civil War wasn't 15-20 years ago.

Those are akin to Pelipper here, the history buff. They'd recognize him as Pelipper recognizes Prometheus. But most people wouldn't.

He was wrong to lay waste to the people who had held him as a prisoner and puppet for what was probably a few years, slayed his people, and who's King would later go on to lay hands on his child when he should not have because he felt entitled to her very existence? He was getting the death sentence because the bozo council was far too eager to get rid of him without knowing the full truth or hearing his side of the story.
