It is! But back in the early 2000's for some reason there were a lot of recolors of the fairy sprite for porn ads.
I think it became such a meme that others started making their own edits as well.

Didn't knew of that lore, but that explains why I've seen more than a few animations that looked like they were inspired on that game. XD
The low poly style works really well with this idea too. Loved it!
