Depends. I, myself, prefer LoS as well, although I merely now a scratch of the Wings of Fire story. Yet, both worlds add to the dragon fanbase and that never hurts. I think, that LoS offers a better foundation for original fan projects, while WoF presents a more fleshed out universe you can work with.
