Welp, there goes my respect for Zaer.

I like Gervic's poker face, like, “Yeah, I'm married to a dragon, what's next?”. I don't think Zaer wants to be happy for his friend at all. Yeah, I know what they went through while Bob was bullying them, but Vlagg is a different dragon. He's honest and kind.

Ye, the fact he looks like half dragon could kinda explain it all.

on the one hand i really want the next panel to just be Gervic slapping Zaer across the face for what he just said.
on the other hand, using violence to combat prejudice just reinforces the prejudice so he really shouldn't do that.
the fact that Gervic has been the bigger man this whole time and neither yelled nor attacked Zaer is truly the mark of a noble man "be a jerk all you want, I refuse to sink to your level"
