Considering they're half of why he was hired, I'd say pretty attached. (From the earlier chapters "I'm cure and have big ears, it's why you hired me.")

Just found the comic and binged it. Since I first found his art... dang, almost ten years ago, Willitfit has come so very far in terms of storytelling and modeling, it's absolutely brilliant.
