A bit unrelated, but I've always wondered why most people draw Raven Team Leader as an anthropomorphic creature but draw the other team leaders as people in costumes.

It's not an issue to me or anything, I just kinda wonder what's up with that since Raven Team Leader is also just a lady in a suit lol

I mean, there is still a good majority of people who draw the other team leaders as actual bears.

True, but I just see it a lot more for Raven Team Leader personally. My theory is that it's because RTL is more popular than the other team leaders especially in the furry community, and because of that, many artists (usually furry ones) draw her as anthropomorphic.

But hey, that's just a theory, a Cooper06 theory!

I think it's also because unlike the other Team Leader variants, RTL doesn't appear to show any skin.

Edit: And for the gummy variant, They're pretty much just a retexture of CTL (or cuz they're new-ish)

That's a plausible theory. Also, the fact her mask can display emotions might also have to do with it too. Really, all three of these theories could be true at once and wouldn't be contradictory, and might actually make more sense together than by themselves

Raven & RTL aren't human imo and that is the general consensus which is why she's depicted as anthro much more often

but even some official art anthroify the costume skins such as Spooky Team Leader in the 2024 Fortnitemares (art) loading screen

I disagree personally. She follows an overall similar pattern to the other team leaders, just that she doesn't show skin and has a mask that can display facial emotions. I believe she's a human in a costume like the others.

Also, I imagine the anthroification of RTL and the others were probably just for the event itself to fit in with the theme rather than hinting at them actually being anthro themselves. For example, the other team leaders normally show skin
