MemberNot only there are no sidewalks, there's no realistically usable public transport. Lots of walls and fences for no reason everywhere also.
JMVRyt
Memberyeah, most residential streets where I live have next to no sidewalks, so I have to walk along curb or on someone's lawn. If I'm luckily, there will be 15ft of sidewalk, only to then immediately end. It'll also certainly be mostly damaged, so it's mostly grass anyways. Some of the major roads that run through have a bit more sidewalk, but 30ft isn't much of an improvement. If I bike, I have to use the sidewalk and risk running a pedestrian over, or use the road and risk being ran over myself. There's a single bus that runs every hour, but it has like 4 stops total (having a bus is a luxury that most cities don't have, because my city happens to house the county courthouse, so the bus has to connect our city to other cities nearby).
The city was built for cars, and you can tell; a gas station built on every block. It's not just a dystopia; it's real, and millions of people like me have to live it.
