Description

There's some level of irony to me drawing this since my content is primarily Human on Pokémon.
But hey, at least the furries and mythologists are getting a good laugh at this!

  • That, and the story was machine translated so it dropped all the wordplay and euphemisms and thus it turns out it was consensual and legal and he wasn't brainwashing her.

The original text speaks nothing of a specific age for the girl. And without the age of the individual it is dubious how "consensual" it was. And the Typhlosion yawning to make the girl not worry about returning to her family was still a thing.

That doesnt just auto make her underage you fuck

Let me write the world's shortest fic.
"A long time ago a pokemon fucked a human. Fin."
Zamn, I forgot to specify it was a sentient pokemon, both parties were of age, weren't intoxicated and consented to have sex free of coercion. I hope I don't get cancelled for rape apologia 😢

  • Nah, that is just humanity
austrians and germans still get that whole ww2 stigma, people are just too dumb to realize that actions do not get passed down generations

That brings up a few things. I am a big collector and studier of imperial Japanese military gear and equipment, and between that, an aunts experience in the Japanese school system for 6 years in the 80' and 90's, and other things, I can't get it out of my head how easy they got off in every regard, including not having that stigma.

Probably because of the fact they got two nukes dropped on them.

Hiroshima and Nagasaki showed the world the horrors of nuclear weaponry, which is why they haven't really been deployed ever since except in reserve as conflict deterrent.

  • And even if it was made canon, it's still some ancient folktale in their world. You know, like stories of beast-women luring men because reasons or devil things impregnating girls in the mountains, if I were a pokemon trainer and my grandpa told me that story I'd be like "that's cool grandpa, go to bed now" as I ride my Typhlosion into the sunset.

For as much as I like him otherwise, I also blame Macarther, who strongly suppressed the disseminating of the horrors committed by the IJA and others to the Japanese people after the war. My aunt said that their history books didn't mention Nanking, Unit 731, the 40% death rate of POW's (IF you were taken prisoner), the tens of thousands of Korean slave comfort women, Bataan, the Kempeitai (at least equal to the Gestapo in its brutality), and a thousand other things that are common knowledge everywhere else. It was almost an exact parallel of the children of the former US confederate states who were (and in some cases still are) taught that the south was the land of moonlight and magnolias, of noble people and summer feasting and happy and content workers (slaves) until the northern devils came and destroyed everything for no reason.

De-nazification saw the crimes of the Nazi state, SS, Wehrmacht, and others plastered all over occupied Germany and shoved down the throats of its people, and rightfully so, and the same could/should have been done in the far east but wasn't because of the pragmatism demanded by the new cold war. If it had been done, I don't think the use of the atomic bombs would have the current view and stigma that they do.
