Even if you hate the cuckholding you have to admit the artist nailed the personalities

    Personalities yes. Characteristics, definitely not.

Agreed. They have solid personalities for what they are, but for Judy's or Nick's personalities it's somehow worse than Borba.

Yeah no. Pretty sure that guy was just a troll. He saw what people loved and decided to make one of the most infamous comics I have ever read just for shits and giggles. He was Gerald from South park trying to get a rise out of people and succeeded

Not him but I believe he is making a distinction between superficial and inner traits of characters:

"Personality" comes down more to how people "behave" outwards, their verbal and non-verbal communication patterns, mannerisms such as:
    friendly/aggressive, smart/dumb, soft-spoken/loud-mouth, brave/cowardly

"Characteristic" a person or character are more like motivations, their fundamental belief like:
    loyal/backstabber, selfless/egoistic, passionate/apathetic, good/evil

Judy by the words of their creators is an extremely selfless and emotional person. She always looks out for the needs of others.
The very THOUGHT of betraying Nick's trust again just like at the press-conference should be something that should make her break down crying for even risking hurting his feelings just for sex with another male.
But this comic has repeatedly portrayed Judy as selfish, caring more about her own pleasure than the feelings of her own life-partner.

Nick has been explained to have grown up with extreme trust-issues due to the bullying he got as a kid. He has NOT developed a humiliation fetish. He lived his life as a hustler fueled by disdain for the city and the people that look down on foxes. That's why he has stormed off angry at the press-conference because he can't stand getting his trust being used against him.

This entire comic is like watching the press conference over and over again, and instead of Nick getting hurt or Judy realizing that she made a mistake, she keeps saying racist stuff against predators, and Nick being happy about it.

Simply put, it's OUT-OF-CHARACTER for them to behave the way they do in this comic series, and even the writer admitted that.
He has said that this is just his escapism and he doesn't care that these two would never actually engage in cucking-fetish, he doesn't care and he doesn't want any criticism about it.

I've never understood why he didn't just create two original characters, a fox and rabbit, set in the Zootopia universe that resemble Nick and Judy. He certainly has the artistic chops to do this.

Then he can have them engage in "nick/judy cucking cosplay". That would leave him free to indulge his wildest cucking/humiliation fantasies without demeaning the original characters he professes to like so much.

RobCivecat pretty much summed it up. Their personalities are similar (snarky, playful, etc), but their character traits are completely reversed. Especially Nick's.

Nick in the movie: dislikes others looking down or demeaning him stemming from a traumatic incident involving bullying. Prides himself on being able to outsmart others and hates when people betray him.

Amadose Nick: Loves being demeaned and bullied to the point of it being a sexual fetish. Had no problem at all with Judy "outsmarting" him by betraying their relationship.

The problem is even then Judy and Nick felt more like their actual characters from him then this comic managed to do

You don't have to dislike cuckolding to criticize this artist/storywriter. They're valid criticisms. The characters being portrayed in this comic are NOTHING like the characters from Zootopia. The artist/storywriter was more than capable of coming up with ORIGINAL CHARACTERS with the rabbit/fox predator/prey dynamic, then add in the cukcolding storyline, and go from there, but blatantly refused, as we see here, in this comic.

Rob hit the nail on the head, and both you and coy are, similar to the artist, stubbornly and blatantly refusing to acknowledge that.

Nah. Rob, Alexander, and Slyly have more or less only negative things to say about this entire comic as a whole and go out of their way to post negatively on it. Evidently a mod did... something even though there's no record and the comments remain up, judging by the update annotations on the comments themselves. Either way, it's evident that all three of y'all need to just blacklist amadose and move on with your lives. For all of you it's been half a decade, or near to it. Time to move on.

If you want to control others' creative freedom with how characters are depicted, create your own OCs. Characters that belong to a larger canon are inevitably going to be depicted in ways that don't match their canon. It's weird to show this much interest in controlling how artists draw characters that aren't yours.

uhh okay but why do characters in a fictional fan story need to match the characteristics of what they come from? might as well call out every comic on this site

Because the original comment claimed they nailed Nick and Judy's personalities. That whole exchange didn't come from nowhere, someone prompted it. Even if you like this comic, it's disingenuous to claim amadose is writing an accurate adaptation of these characters and what they'd do in this situation.

I thought we already clarified that personalities and characteristics are different

Let me introduce you to something called "trauma response". Human (or furry in this case) brain is an awful, awful person when it comes to trauma. And one of the way to process said trauma is to develop and attraction to that stimulus. I know quite a few people who were bullied and abused, both sexually and non-sexually early in life, and later they developed the humiliation/degradation fetishes and became addicted and turned on by the very thing that hurt that in the past. It's messed up, it always pains me to see them indulge in such things, because they always feel awful afterwards, but it is very much a real response.
Now, do I think that the comics is realistic? Eh, could be, could be not. But I just wanted to clarify that being bullied in your developing years often leads to you developing an attraction to that later in life

Oh my god, thank you for bringing this up, I felt like no one was acknowledging trauma-kink existed! trauma-kink is essentially your trauma becoming a part of your kinks, often its your way of reclaiming control. there are so many cases of this, getting physically abused becomes an enjoyment of impact play, being a gifted child earlier in life and burning out turned into being happy with pretending to be a stupid puppy for a while, even being raped at some point in life can often lead to a love for consensual non-consent play. what I'm saying is that I agree that while it does *seem* a bit out of character for Nick and Judy, I absolutely think its very well within the realm of possibility for them to develop these kinks. sorry for yapping, trauma-kink response is something I'm not only passionate about, its a part of me too!

Basically, the characters would never do this, but if they did, this is pretty accurate to how they'd behave during it.
