The thing i hate most about people hating on communism is thinking that authoritarianism = communism, and thinking that current Russia or China have anything communistic on them

Personally, i think the previous attempts on communism where horrible failures, and if communism wants to viable and legit in the future it needs to reinvent itself. Most importain is adhesion to democracy, mutiple political parties and no cult of personality. A communist society should put all its effort in investing in proper education, as an educated qualified population will increase the wealth of the country and be more politcally engaged, which is importaint to avoid falling into dictatorial traps.

The grass is always greener on the other side. You want communism because your country has never experienced it, I don't want communism because my country HAS experienced it.

I feel like you dint read what i posted and simply assumed i wanted communism.

First i already explained that communism to be viablr in the modern age would have to be vastly different from previous atempts, away from traditional marxism to something more modern. Marx lived almost 200 years ago, society, technology and political context have all changed so much that we can't take his teaching to a modern age without serious revision

Second i do not actually wish for communism in any form on my country, reason being, my government (Brazil) and society as general is too corrupt for it. The kind of comunism im talking about needs to have politizied citizens who are able to hold the governament accountable and not allow it to do as it pleases without consequences.

If you disagree or dislike what i said then fine, negative me, i just wish people wouldn't take a glance at this, and instantly negative me because they hate communism.

Idealistic worlds are never viable, communism turned out how it did because of people, and real examples are infinitely more valuable than theory crafting. We know it doesn't work because it hasn't worked on multiple occasions, saying how it could have been done differently is meaningless because that's not how humans work.

I'm gonna throw in my piece here just in case the others didn't get it through
Communism simply can not work due to the fact that it relies on the "inherent goodness of man" which is wishful thinking as humans are naturally greedy want more for their hard work
Take away the reward for hard work and make them get the same thing no matter what and people eventually want to stop working because to them there is no point
Communism by definition takes that reward away
