Leeris saw this coming from miles away, a small force gathered together against the dragon's army. They were desperate, they weren't organized and they weren't soldiers - he was a farmer for gods' sake. It wasn't really a surprise that they got crushed by them, what was surprising that they weren't killed. Maybe the rumors about the madness of the dragon king Rheon was false.

Maybe they were captured to be tortured first for the king's sadistic pleasure. Leeris hoped it was not so.

Still, here he was. Bound and subdued. Sent to the throne room. His hope was dimming with every step but he still moved on, staying still wouldn't do anything other than a guard to come and fetch him more aggressively. He swallowed thickly as the giant gate opened for him to pass, biting his lip as he scampered inside. Every little sound made him flinch and the brightness made him squint after passing through the dimly lit halls.

He approached the throne and after his eyes got used to the light...

He really hoped the rumors were false, he didn't want the handsome dragon on the throne to be a sadistic nutjob who would laugh and watch him suffer. He tried to stop the wagging of his tail as his eyes trailed over the details of him. Covered in red and white scales, thick arms that can lift him like nothing, broad chest rising and falling with every breath, a long face resting on his knuckles and intelligent blue eyes sizing him up.

He watched the king sit on his bed and look at him expectantly, knees parted invitingly. He eyed the dragon's slit for a moment before slowly getting closer and down to his knees.

His scent got stronger this close and he gave the slit an experimental lick, satisfied that his nose didn't lie to him about what taste he should expect.
