I think Feretta is talking about Friga, the actor, having a sister, like Sonia, the actor, having an aunt, (outside of the ToT story).
The family we know the most about is Vix's (the Mon Siviels). Not including Fen and the kits, we have seen Vix's parents, her 3 sisters, her 2 aunts, and I think 1 cousin. I think Feretta mentioned that the family had 20 members, but I am not sure if that was the entire family, or just those with the Mon Siviel last name.
In story, Vix's mom was in one of Vix's 'educational asides', about Farellia's tech, and one of her sisters is the helmsman of Sha's airship.

I swear, Feretta always has some of the best art and just such a wonderful art style.

Huh, I had completely forget about Vix's family (really only remembering Leena, Mirial and Vandrick), as we barely see them. But then again TOT is more about Vix and Fen.
